DEVELOPMENT PLANS

We believe development plans can be much more than just documents. The process of making them is often much more important, but also what happens after.

We design and facilitate processes that produce a development plan through co-creation and engaging all the most important stakeholders.

For us, the aim is that the changes outlined through this process start happening even before the document is ready – because people get on the same page on why the changes are needed and understand how they are supposed to bring them about.

HOW WE DO IT?

DESIGN A PROCESS

We use a wide variety of methods (design thinking, systems practice, co-creation etc) to hand-craft unique processes for each project.

IDENTIFY CHALLENGES

We help the organisation to figure out what are the things that are most important to be changed.

DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Plans don’t make change, but no desired change happens without one. So, we help organisations create coherent and inspiring plans.

IMPLEMENTATION

We usually support the leadership team in actually realising their plans. This allows for adjusting approaches and reflecting the developments while they are happening.

PROJECT
EXAMPLES

  • A theater needed a new development plan, but the leadership team knew that the team was not very enthusiastic about it.
  • We designed and facilitated a process that engaged the whole organisation in ways that connected with this difficult audience.
  • We met on the theater stage and employed “theatrical” formats to make the process more “real” for the collective.
  • We co-created an inspiring development plan with novel elements (like a manifesto) that inspired the right people.
  • A relatively new NGO needed to create a more formal strategy to bring to the same page an organisation that had grown fast.
  • We designed the process that combined the leadership team and engagement of the whole organisation.
  • A 6-month process led to a changed impact model and restructuring plans that led to important changes in the work of the NGO.
  • We supported and advised the leadership team in implementing the changes.
