WORKSHOPS

We believe that the complexities of mission-driven organisations mean that strategy can’t be calculated, but it needs to be deliberated in the right group with a good facilitator.

We try to be good facilitators. We aim to create an atmosphere of trust and excitement, where people are willing to be honest with eachother (and themselves) and discuss difficult, but important topics and actually reach conclusions together.

We achieve this by combining proven formats and methods with the intuition of an experienced strategy facilitator. Usually we employ workshops as the main building blocks of larger strategy processes, but sometimes a one-time workshop is exactly what is needed.

SOME FORMATS

LEADERS' WORKSHOP

A small team of high level leaders who have the authority to decide things together.

STRATEGY DAYS

Leadership team and a wider steering group goes through a systematic process.

LARGE OUTING

The whole organisation goes away to make sense of their strategic situation and decisions.

HACKATON

Select group comes together to launch something new with systematic support.

PROJECT
EXAMPLES

  • A group of experts were asked to give input to a larger strategy and we were involved to design and facilitate a workshop for the experts to agree on what input to give.
  • We designed a simple 4-hour workshop that employed interactive methods to map common goals and main challenges and then brainstorm and choose the best solutions.
  • We also helped formulate the input into a clear and consise document.
  • A university institute needed to figure out how to move on with their work and asked us to propose a process.

  • As they had limited time, we proposed one large outing with the whole collective, but with a small preparatory meeting with only the leadership team.
  • The 2-day outing allowed the whole collective to get on the same page about the challenges facing the institute and then be inspired by their own co-created solutions.
